YEARS OF REFINED COMFORT
Our Heritage

A seaside sanctuary, five decades in the making.

Solacevalleycourt started in 1974 as one villa on a sheltered bay, expanding only when we were confident growth would not dilute what drew people here. 52 years later we maintain 90 rooms and suites, four kitchens and two gaming rooms, and we still decline more bookings than we accept.

For us, luxury is not marble and gilt. It is the refill you never requested, the chauffeur who recalls your name, the table kept open an hour after closing because conversation had not finished. We recruit for that instinct and retain the people who possess it.

Most guests return, and that is the entire plan. We prefer 62 percent of a smaller circle coming back each year to chasing a larger audience that never does.

What Awaits You

Tailored experiences

From morning swims to after-midnight gaming, each hour here is deliberate, rehearsed and polished over decades.

01

Culinary Delights

Three restaurants, one Michelin star, and a kitchen garden whose harvest shapes tomorrow’s menu. Our chefs do not invent seasonal dishes — they let the season sketch itself onto the plate, each morning, in pencil.

Live Entertainment

Jazz evenings in the main bar, headline performers in the rotunda, and intimate lounge sets four nights weekly. Our Thursday pianist has been here for years. Some guests travel solely to hear him play.

FT HOW TO SPEND IT
From the Owners

Assembled room by room.

When we opened in 1974 we had six rooms, a kitchen, and one principle: guests are not revenue units, they are people we have welcomed into our home. 52 years on we hold 90 keys, four restaurants and a casino floor — and that principle has not shifted.

There is a right way to do this work and a wrong one. Across 52 years we chose the former and held to it. Everyone on our team — from reception to kitchen porters — was selected, trained and retained because they share the same sense of what excellence looks like. No building can manufacture that on its own. It comes from people.

We hope you will visit and judge for yourself. And when you do, we hope you will tell us where we fell short, so the next 52 years surpass the last.
